🌱 Climate DC: January 2026
DC Climate Week is coming...
Happy New Year Climate DC community!
We’re kicking off 2026 with fresh energy, exciting plans for the months ahead, and a big moment on the calendar you won’t want to miss.
Climate DC and DC Climate Week are teaming up again to host the DC Climate Week 2026 Launch Happy Hour on January 28 at 5:30 PM at Franklin Hall.
Join us to meet the people behind DC Climate Week, learn how to get involved in DCCW 2026 (April 20–26), and connect with fellow climate advocates. Whether you’re interested in hosting an event at DCCW, volunteering, partnering, or just showing up, this happy hour is open to all.
👋 Welcome Ethan, Vice President of Community
We’re excited to welcome one more addition to our Climate DC board: Ethan Lendore, our new Vice President of Community!
Ethan works at the intersection of climate solutions and community engagement, with a focus on building trust-based relationships that support meaningful adoption and long-term impact. His experience spans community organizing, infrastructure-related projects, and cross-sector collaboration.
As VP of Community, Ethan leads Climate DC’s community engagement and partnership efforts, working closely with local communities and organizations to ensure our work is impactful and practical.
We’re thrilled to have him on the team!
