π COP30 Wraps With a Mixed Global Reaction
COP30 wrapped with mixed reviews this year. On the bright side, countries made progress on methane reductions, accelerated adaptation, nature, and forest commitments, and pushed forward carbon market collaboration β small but meaningful wins beneath the headlines. But the final agreement fell short on committing to phase out fossil fuels. And, for the first time in COPβs 30-year history, there was no official United States delegation sent to the climate conference.
What were your takeaways? Do you feel COP30 moved us in the right direction, or stalled when it matters most? Bring your thoughts to our next event in 2026 for an informal conversation!
